Church View is much more to us than just a building. It is a safe place for our clients to openly discuss their goals and ambitions and it is where our team collaborate and socialise. Church View is an architectural metaphor of our desire for perfection and commitment to excellence.
It’s where the magic happens…. or should I say ‘happened’!
As we enter our sixth month of remote working, we’ve been amazed by the continuity we have enjoyed, thanks to technology. The boosst team have responded superbly to change and clients have enjoyed productive planning meetings delivered by video call.
Our leadership team of Josh, Vicki, Keith and myself have the tricky task of deciding when (and how) to bring our team back to the office. It is worth mentioning that we are incredibly proud of our team; who have all adapted well to working from home, especially when most of them never thought this would be something they would do through choice, let alone be forced upon them! We also have two new team members who are yet to meet the rest of the team face-to-face.
Whilst there is now some encouragement from government to return to the workplace where possible, at boosst, the health and safety of the team and our clients is paramount. With continued uncertainty and the rising likelihood of a second wave of COVID-19, we have decided to continue working remotely, with all client meetings being undertaken remotely by video call.
The majority of our clients who have opted for our the full boosst and a little boosst face-to-face services are aged 45+, which is the precise age range of those who are at greatest risk. We did not take this decision lightly but we absolutely do not want to become a hub of transmission for COVID..
The team are very much missing the beautiful views from the office and are all disappointed that they have missed the first Spring and Summer seasons on the lake; which have been full of wildlife.
We are also disappointed that many of our clients have not yet had the opportunity to experience the serene environment Keith and Josh have created, however, this will all still be there and ready to greet us with its beauty when we do return and are able to greet clients in the way that we love to.
Church View is the hub of our business and we are all looking forward to a safe return, when the time is right. We will continue to update this Insights blog with our views on returning to the office – and we look forward to seeing you soon!
