⭐️🏆⭐️🏆⭐️ It’s official!! ⭐️🏆⭐️🏆⭐️

We are proud to once again be recognised as the UK’s Financial Planning Firm of the Year.
The group of Accredited Financial Planning Firms represent the best of the best in the UK, making this award particularly special.
The Award
The CISI are the professional body for financial planners in the UK. The nations best financial planners endeavour to achieve the CISI’s Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification and the best financial planning firms strive to become an Accredited Financial Planning Firm (AFPF). boosst are proud to have been an accredited firm since we launched and we have 6 CFP professionals in our team.
The CISI describe Accredited Firms as those who “demonstrate excellence in everything they do, put their fiduciary duty to clients before all else, and are therefore recognised as the most trusted financial planning firms in the UK”. Firms that achieve accredited status represent the pinnacle of the financial planning community.
To reach the final stage of the award we were asked to submit a detailed application, shortlisted as finalists and invited to attend a formal presentation and interview with leading figures from the profession. Oliver Bourke (Chairman of the Accredited Firms Committee at the CISI) chaired the judging panel, alongside Bill Begley (also CISI), Keith Mackie and James Gard.
The judges applauded boosst for:
- Pushing the boundaries of financial planning.
- Sharing our best ideas with peers, for free, via initiatives like our annual ‘Masterclass’ online sessions and our Open Day for financial planners.
- Opportunistically including ‘live’ demonstrations in our presentation, rather than just making claims about what we do.
- Creative initiatives, like our community sourced Travel & Experience Directory, and our Retirement Playbook, which help clients reimagine their future.
- Executing practical solutions, like Zenplans, which helps people organise their affairs and keep track of their important documents, suppliers and digital assets, enabling them to ‘die tidily’ and give a clean pass. This is publicly available, learn more at www.boosst.me
- Proactively delivering services that add value for younger clients in our community, such as the children and grandchildren of longstanding clients.
Thank you!
We are of course thankful to the CISI for this award. Winning Financial Planning Firm of the Year is a particularly high water mark for us as a business. Something to both be celebrated and a target for us to surpass again in the future. The award also looks brilliant on our new custom shelving recently installed in the entrance area at boosst HQ!
…but the biggest ‘thank you’ must of course go to you, our clients! We’re working hard and striving for excellence. We’re reliant on your feedback to know what we’re doing well and to identify where we can improve – for we are not the type to settle for anything other than perfect. Most importantly, thank you for being such a nice group of people to work with, you make our work a pleasure!
We are growing – and we need your continued support!
All of our growth to date has organically arrived from our existing clients referring their friends, family and colleagues. We love working in this way as it means that we become more embedded within our client community over time and we can provide a truly intergenerational service for families.
Great Financial Planning is (sadly) becoming a rare commodity:
With an aging profession, the trend has been for retiring advisers to sell their businesses to consolidators. This introduces new ownership, who typically view the ‘asset’ of the business (that’s the clients!) as an asset to sweat for profit. This often means introducing vertically integrated platforms or investment propositions, which may not be better for the client – but does add new profit lines for the new owners. This effect is often put on steroids when the transaction is funded by venture capital debt and high interest is due on the money borrowed to buy the business. We have taken a very different route by becoming an employee-owned business. This preserves our culture, team and service offering, while also seeing no changes to your experience as a client. This is a much better pathway for both our team and you as clients, and creates the ability for us to deliver the services you have come to rely upon and love, for generations to come.
We believe that Financial Planning in 2025 is more valuable than ever before:
We see the impact of ‘proper’ financial planning on a daily basis – be that by helping boosst clients to define new personal ambitions, by setting plans in motion to secure future generations, or by giving money a genuine purpose with a lifestyle-driven financial plan.
To introduce a friend, family member or colleague to boosst, simply obtain permission to share their contact details with us and Josh will make contact. The first step is an ‘introductory call’ and if we agree that boosst can add value, we will then arrange a Discovery Meeting which is held at our cost.
