On the 6th of September, dawn broke as usual at boosst HQ. The birds were singing, the wind was brushing across the surface of the lake and the dragonflies were humming around in search of breakfast… but something a little different was in the air.<\/span><\/p>\n

This wasn’t a typical day spent bettering the lives of our clients… which became evident as the car park slowly filled with other Financial Planners from across the UK. One even travelled from Scotland!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

boosst Summer Camp was a new idea which was given life when Tom made a small throwaway comment that “we should run our own event”<\/em>. Tom had been with us for around 6 months when he uttered those words… and he hadn’t yet learnt that any good idea, regardless of the effort and time involved, is usually met with a ‘Yes” by Josh and Keith.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We welcomed 10 attendees to our inaugural Summer Camp and we loved the opportunity to share our unique approach to Financial Planning. The ticket price of \u00a350 (including fresh Pizza!)<\/em> made it clear that this was not an event run for profit – rather our motive was simply to contribute to the growth of ‘proper’ financial planning in the UK. Our attendees made it clear that we hit the brief, as when we asked “ignoring the price you paid for the event, what was the value you gained in \u00a3\u00a3\u00a3?”.<\/em>.. the AVERAGE response was \u00a312,800 per person!\u00a0<\/strong>(Maybe we should revisit our pricing!)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
