Following the merger between the Institute of Financial Planning and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments, the CISI now present some of our profession’s most highly coveted awards, including the CFP Professional of the Year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Achieving Certified Financial Planner (CFP) status is the pinnacle of qualifications for a Financial Planner, with just 982 CFP Professionals in the UK, of which we are proud to have 3 within the boosst team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Josh reached the shortlist of top UK Financial Planners in August and invited to London in September to be assessed based on a written Case Study and a technical interview with 3 representatives from the CISI. The process was rigorous and certainly worthy of the accolade!<\/span><\/p>\n

Both Keith and Josh were also invited to speak at the CISI’s annual Financial Planning Conference in October but it wasn’t until the evening Gala Dinner that the award winners were announced. Vicki and Jennie were also at the event to hear the results as Josh was announced as runner-up.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whilst clearly delighted to have finished Second against highly-regarded competitors, Josh was of course, somewhat pained to have come so close to winning!<\/span><\/p>\n

The judge’s result was a split-decision, awarding Josh with ‘Highly Commended’ status and second place overall.<\/span><\/p>\n

Josh said:<\/span><\/p>\n

“I am hugely thankful for being recognised at this level so young in my career. I really do hope that this achievement gives encouragement to my fellow young Financial Planners and inspires confidence in our clients, who can see that boosst is working at the very highest level with a focus on nurturing young talent.”<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
